Eighty Years ago: Kristallnacht. Commemorated in the attached article from the Atlantic. It was the night Hitler's forces launched a massive campaign of attacking Jewish shops, homes and buildings in Germany. Anti-semitism led to the Holocaust, but did not die with the massacring of 6 million Jews. Nor was Antisemitism invented by Hitler. It has a sad and very long history in "Christian"Europe going back to the century of Constantine the Great in the early fourth century.
