Thanks to Aleteia, I read about a new book written by Prof.dr. Michael Hesemann entitled: Völkermord an den Armenier (The Armenia Genocide). Aleteia's interview with him is attached. The interview underlines the importance of Pope's Francis recent comments about the Armenian Genocide. The comments, also, relied on new evidence about the genocide and about the Vatican efforts at the time to stop the genocide. The Turkish claim that the Pope was misinformed has no ground whatsoever: The Pope's knows the truth from his own archives.
It s high time that the truth be recognized by Turkey and by the governments of Europe: the Netherlands and Germany included.
