shame to the legal profession (16-11-2020)

"Even if the court challenges to the election fail—as we expect they will—the baseless attacks on the legitimacy of how the election has been conducted will have long-term effects on the health of our democracy,” wrote Kristen Clarke, president and executive director of the National Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law" as  I quote from attached document in Politico.

When many lawyers are willing to pursue flimsy lawsuits to overturn the outcome of legally held and accounted elections, there must also be something fatally wrong with the profession. Law is supposed to uphold the rule of law and democracy. Whenever asked (and paid for) to take a case, every lawyer ought to examine his conscience whether allowed to do so. Lawyer's complicity with the destruction of democracy is morally unacceptable.
